5. Verín in Ourense

In Orense, one of the oldest and most inclusive carnivals in Galicia is celebrated. The figure of the Cigarrón and the fariñadas are the defining aspects of the festival (flour battles). The streets of Ourense are filled with cigarrones with their characteristic masks and traditional attire.

6. Tarragona
